So I was potentially interested in becoming a client with Kontera, so I filled out their contact form online. I received no response back, so several days later on July 17th I called them & left a message on their operator’s voice mail for this Monica.
Once again, still no call back & it’s July 23, 2009 now.
I called again, I get Monica on the phone & I said I wanted to speak to a manager, she refused to let me. At one point she said there were no managers here right now, but she didn’t offer to take my information down so one could call me. She started to use the “this is an online company” as an excuse.
When are these sub par unprofessional online companies going to get it through their heads that they can’t USE their online status as an excuse as to why they don’t follow all the normal company procedures.
It also sounded like she was using the excuse that she didn’t know me which is why she didn’t call me back LOL
Umm, if you are a company, why in the WORLD would you know every single person who calls you???
Then her attitude was, “how do you know I wasn’t sick?”
Well Monica, here is some free business advice for you. If you are sick, either someone else should be taking over your voice mail messages, OR, you should record a message saying you are sick & you will get back to everyone as soon as possible.
This still doesn’t explain why my initial contact via their form was never returned.
She even found my name & number on her list, but still had no good reason as to why she didn’t return my call. She came up with a lot of excuses though which is typical of immature people who don’t take responsibility for their actions.
I am glad I found this out now rather than waste my money going with a company who doesn’t care about potential new clients & uses a whole bunch of excuses for not returning your contact to them.
