I wanted to order a gift for my assistant & wasn’t able to because I wanted to speak to someone in the US & I was rerouted to a Filipino call center.
I demanded to speak to someone in the US & was told I couldn’t, so they just lost a sale from me.
So before I posted my experience with Gevalia on this blog, I had written to them complaining about what happened.
To my amazement, they wanted my full name & address.
I told them they had my e-mail address & that was sufficient, but they said that is their policy & they can’t forward my complaint unless they have that information.
While many companies will ask for a full address, they usually only do this when you are talking to them on the phone & they are sending you something for the trouble you had.
I did NOT feel comfortable at all giving out my address to a perfect stranger via e-mail & it made no logical sense to me that they couldn’t open up a complaint without this information.
I’m beginning to feel there is something very wrong with this company & I’m happy with my decision not to purchase from them.
I went with another coffee club site & I hope everything is okay with them, because I still haven’t received my e-mail receipt.
